The programme will be delivered through a mix of :
- Click for details of Courses.
- Class room lectures by leading faculty from India and outside. These interactions will be case based and will require pre and post lecture readings and assignments.
- Workshops by professional experts to develop writing & communication, leadership and team work skills.
- Working on real life projects in your area of interest under the Experiential Learning Module.
- Regular guest speaker sessions and seminars with leaders from different sectors in India and outside.

YIF programme is open to all young men and women with :
- A recognized undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- Students who are in the final year of their undergraduate and postgraduate degree
- No more than 28 years of age on 31st May, 2014
Applicants must submit a detailed application dossier. Each component of the application and the interview is important and the selection of the candidate for the programme will be made considering a combination of many factors. The process will include evaluation of the submitted application, telephone interview, personal interview and a general ability test to assess their verbal, written and analytical skills.

The selection process will be carried out in three stages :
- Assessment on basis of submitted applications : All applications will be reviewed by the selection committee consisting of faculty and executive members of the programme spread across different parts of the world. Hence, it is advisable that you apply online.
- Telephonic interview : Short-listed applicants will be interviewed on the telephone before being called for an in-person interview.
- In-person interview : First-round applicants who are short-listed will be interviewed in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore while the 2nd-round applicants shortlisted for interview will be called to New Delhi. There could be multiple rounds of interviews for a candidate, depending on the need for further assessment. At this stage, applicants will also be administered a general ability test to assess their verbal, written and analytical skills.
Admission process for YIF Class of 2015-16 will start from 5th September 2014 and close on28th Feb 2015 . YIF offers a rolling admission process and is split into two rounds. Each round accepts applications within a specified date- window and selects Fellows from the pool of applications from that round. Please refer to the calendar below for important date-windows for the two rounds.

- Tuition expenses for lectures and workshops delivered by the very best teachers and experts from around the world.
- Board and lodging.
- Cost of reading and case materials, library subscriptions and shared text books.
Details of scholarship break-up :
- Fellows awarded full scholarship will be exempted from paying the full INR 6 lakhs and the additional food cost.
- Fellows awarded full tution scholarship will receive INR 4.50 lakhs scholarship and will pay the remaining INR 1.50 living cost and the food cost and pay a total of INR 2.25 lakhs.
- Fellows awarded half tuition scholarship will receive INR 2.25 lakhs scholarship and will pay the remaining INR 3.75 lakhs (half tuition and living cost) and the food cost and pay a total of INR 4.50 lakhs.
- Fellows awarded Ashoka merit scholarship will receive INR 1 lakh scholarship and will pay the remaining INR 5 lakhs and the food cost and pay a total of INR 5.75 lakhs.
